The German truck and bus manufacturer MAN denied that it employed slave laborers during World War II. The company said it was falsely accused of engaging in such practices when a lawsuit was filed last week against several German firms. The firm maintained in a statement that it “staunchly” resisted requests by Nazi officials that it employ concentration camp prisoners at its plants.
