The government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved on Sunday a spending package for Jerusalem that includes subsidies to every Israeli couple that buys an apartment there. Labor Party candidate Ehud Barak accused Netanyahu of conducting “election economics” to win votes in next week’s balloting.
