The head of the Israel Defense Force’s northern command said Hezbollah fighters in southern Lebanon were using anti-aircraft missiles to down Israeli jets flying in the area. Maj. Gen. Amiram Levine also said the Shi’ite fighters were increasing mortar fire at Israeli positions in the security zone.
