The homegoing of the five thousand Roumanian students who participated in the Jassy congress was marked with anti-Jewish excesses along the Roumanian railway lines.

At the railway stations Focsany, Buzeu and Ploesto, Jewish passengers were brutally beaten and robbed and then thrown out of the trains.

In the Bucharest University, five Jewish students were fatally injured during the lecture of Professor Pelastra. The victims were taken to the hospital.
