The honorary degree of Doctor of Laws was conferred upon Jacob Billikopf, Executive Director of the Federation of Jewish Charities of Philadelphia, by Frank W. Boatwright, president of the University of Richmond, at the commencement exercises held yesterday. Mr. Billikopf is an alumnus of the Richmond University.
Moses J. Stroock, lawyer and communal worker, will receive the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws at the annual commencement exercises of St. John’s College, Brooklyn.
The degree, which will be conferred on June 14, will be given in recognition of Mr. Stroock’s interest in educational matters, John J. Cloonan, president of the college, declared.
