The IDF has announced a forthcoming open mobilization practice, to take place shortly. The IDF spokesman said that several thousand men and a number of private cars and trucks which serve as reserve transport would be mobilized for a few hours, as a test of the efficiency of the system. The advance warning is intended to prevent misinterpretations by the Arab states of Israeli intentions.
