The indignation of Jewish public opinion in Poland at the new outbreak of anti-Jewish excesses in Roumania was expressed by Deputy Waclaw Wiclicki, member of the Club of Jewish Deputies.
As a protest against the anti-Jewish excesses, Deputy Wiclicki, in a letter addressed to King Ferdinand, declared that he rejects the order the Roumanian government had conferred upon him. In his letter, Deputy Wiclicki expresses sympathy with the Roumanian Jews.
The order was conferred upon him in October, 1925, during his visit to Bucharest as a member of the Polish parliamentary delegation.
