The International League Against Racism and Anti-Semitism (LICA) has protested to the French government about a meeting of the Iron Guard, the former Rumanian fascist organization, due to take place here Sunday. LICA has demanded the government forbid this “scandalous meeting.” LICA said that former Iron Guard commander Viriel Trifa, is expected to attend. He was one of the leaders responsible for the pogroms carried out in Rumania. Trifa, now residing in Michigan, was recently shown in Israeli newspapers in his Iron Guard uniform standing beside Goebbels.
