The intifada leadership called on the Palestinian Authority to stop arresting Palestinians suspected of attacking Israelis. The leaders also demanded that the Palestinian Authority release those already detained and reopen buildings affiliated with Hamas and Islamic Jihad, Israel Radio reported. Palestinian security sources said two Islamic Jihad members were detained on Saturday.
