The Israel Army’s northern command played host Wednesday to hundreds of them Russian refusniks who had fought for years for permission to come to Israel. The gala meeting, at Ein Gev on the shores of Lake Tiberias, wound up an army “absorption week” during which the newcomers toured army camps, told soldiers of their efforts to come to Israel, and heard from the soldiers what they had done to help new comers settle down.
