The Israel Defense Force set up a Patriot anti-missile installation near Haifa. According to the IDF Spokesman, the installation, which is capable of intercepting incoming missiles, was set up as a military exercise. But Israel Radio reported that local residents are concerned by reports that Hezbollah gunmen in Lebanon possess long-range missiles capable of reaching the Haifa region.
