The Israeli and Palestinian Authority tourism ministers signed a cooperation agreement. “Tourism can open the way for peace in the Middle East, and in this area we are here to assure the tourists, the visitors to this country, that they will feel at home when they are in the Holy Land,” Mitri Abu Aita, P.A. minister of tourism and antiquities, told reporters Wednesday at a signing ceremony with his Israeli counterpart, Gideon Ezra.
