The Israeli army uncovered landmines that it said Hezbollah planted recently on the Israeli side of the border with Lebanon. An engineering unit engaged in routine searches of the frontier near the Israeli town of Avivim discovered five landmines Monday. Israel filed a complaint with U.N. peacekeepers in southern Lebanon on the suspected truce violation by the Shi’ite terrorist militia.
