The Israeli population is growing, but with relatively fewer Jews, the government said. According to Central Bureau of Statistics data released Tuesday, in 20 years there will 9.3 million Israelis, an increase of 45 percent. But while Jews constitute around 78 percent of the population today, that will drop to 70 percent in 2025 because of the higher birth rate among Israeli Arabs.
