The Jewish community of Dresden, Germany, is reportedly planning to build a new synagogue on the site of the previous one, which was destroyed on Kristallnacht. Construction is slated to begin Nov. 9, the 60th anniversary of the night in 1938, when marauding bands of Nazis destroyed Jewish property in Germany.
