The Jewish community of Zimbabwe, which gained its independence Thursday, will take part in the 11th Maccabiah in 1981 without any restrictions. A cable to this affect was received Thursday of the Maccabiah Organizing Committee offices here. Till now, Rhodesian athletes, including, Jews from Rhodesia, were prevented, from taking port in international and recognized sports events because of a boycott imposed by the various sports federations. Now that Zimbabwe is independent, those restrictions have been abolished.
