The Jewish deputy Waclaw Wiclicki, who rejected the order conferred upon him by the Roumanian government, as a protest against the anti-Jewish excesses there was reprimanded by the speaker of the Polish parliament, Rataj.

The speaker reproached Deputy Wiclicki for applying in this case the form of writing a letter to the King, pointing out that this incident may lead to diplomatic complications between the Polish and Roumanian governments.
