The Jewish National Fund is sponsoring tours of Israel for the 200 American soldiers manning Patriot missile batteries in Israel. The initiative came about after several soldiers told the JNF’s executive vice president, Russell Robinson, who visited a Patriot base Wednesday with a delegation from the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, that they couldn’t afford the $35 fee for tours that the U.S. army offers.
