The Lithuanian State Security Department urged all state institutions, political forces and legislators to firm up their efforts to prevent the spread of neo-Nazi ideas, according to the Union of Councils for Soviet Jews. This move came in response to recent accusations that the Lithuanian authorities were failing to take any action to ban such organizations and their activities.
