The martyrdom of Europe’s 6,000,000 Jews annihilated during the Nazi regime, and the heroism of the Jews who fought in the Warsaw Ghetto rebellion 19 years ago, were memorialized in virtually every Jewish community in the Union of South Africa today. Among the speakers were members of the Chamber of Deputies and leaders of the Jewish community.
