The National Council of Jewish Women is opposing the nomination of a judge because of her stance on abortion. The challenge to Judge Carolyn Kuhl’s nomination to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals marks the first time the Jewish group has taken a stand on a judicial nominee below the Supreme Court level.
