The nephew and namesake of the late Lord Arthur Balfour sharply criticized the British government’s Middle East policy today and warned both Britain and the United States against appeasement of the Arabs because there can be no lasting solution to the Middle East problem until “Nasser and the Arab leaders acknowledge that the State of Israel is here to stay.”
