The North American umbrella group for Jewish federations is sending its top leadership on a three-day “fact-finding mission” to northern Israel. During their trip, which starts Sunday, the leaders of the United Jewish Communities plan to meet with residents of northern communities affected by Israel’s withdrawal from Lebanon to learn how North American Jews can best help them.
