The Orthodox Union praised the U.S. Congress for approving tax breaks that would spur private support for faith-based charities. The Pension Protection Act, which passed its final hurdle in the Senate last Friday, includes provisions that would allow donors to use funds from individual retirement accounts and creates more opportunities for donating surplus food and books.
