The Palestinian Authority asked Israel to help in its preparations for the Y2K computer bug, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported Wednesday. According to the paper, the Palestinians are particularly concerned that computer glitches in the year 2000 could disrupt the functioning of hospitals in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
