The Palestinian Authority president and Saudi king met to discuss heightened Israeli-Palestinian tensions. The Associated Press reported that Mahmoud Abbas and King Abdullah met Sunday in Riyadh, a day after Abbas met with Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal in Cairo. An anonymous Palestinian source told the AP that Abdullah and Abbas discussed “how to re-establish security” in Gaza “and reactivate the cease-fire.”
