The Palestinian Authority suspended broadcasts of a children’s show that incited against Israel and the West. P.A. Cabinet Minister Mustafa Barghouti said Wednesday that “Tomorrow’s Pioneers,” a weekly show on Hamas’ Al-Aksa television station, has been pulled pending a review of its content. Israeli watchdog groups had raised alarms over the show, which features a Mickey Mouse-like character exhorting children to undertake violent global jihad and establish “a world led by Islamists.” Diane Disney Miller, whose father, Walt Disney, provided the voice for the original Mickey Mouse character, joined in the protests. “What we’re dealing with here is pure evil, and you can’t ignore that,” she told the New York Daily News.
