The Palestinian Authority’s new security chief reportedly has been tied to attacks on Israelis. A new report by the Intelligence and Terrorism Center for Special Studies in Israel says Mohammed Dahlan, whom new P.A. Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas chose as his security chief, was privy to a memo to P.A. President Yasser Arafat from various Palestinian terrorist groups describing their plans to escalate suicide attacks, car bombings, sniper shootings and other forms of “military activity” early in the intifada, the New York Sun reported.
