The period of active service for army reserve units may be reduced shortly, it was learned Wednesday. Units that presently serve 60-90 days per annum will be required in the future to serve between 10-50 days. General Headquarters may replace them by ordering auxiliary units that serve fewer days than field units into additional operational service.
