–The petition of the Zionist Executive concerning the Western Wall issue will in all likelihood be considered at the present session of the Mandates Commission is the prediction of the Geneva correspondent of the “Vossiche Zeitung.” The Commission will be in session until November 10.
The correspondent states that there seems to be no doubt that the League Commission, in acting on the Zionist Executive’s petition, will express disapproval of the events which occurred in Jerusalem and will in a polite manner draw the attention of the British Government to the view that the District Commissioner of Jerusalem responsible for the occurrence is after all, perhaps “not the right man in the right spot.”
