The plan of Jewish land settlement in Bureya is not intended to compete with Palestine, declares the Jewish Communist leader Tchemerisky writing in the “Emes” today.

“While Palestine is an English colony, with an Arab population, Bureya, will be a Jewish Republic, whose future will be connected with the victory of the proletarian class,” he states.

Charges that “protectionism” is a great factor in the choice of the new settlers were made by the Communist Charkoff daily, “Der Stern.” Land is being given to relatives and friends, the paper states.
