The prosecution rested in the case of a New Jersey rabbi accused of hiring hit men to kill his wife in 1994. In prosecution testimony late this week, the man who served as assistant rabbi to Fred Neulander testified that Neulander is a “wonderful” and “charismatic” speaker. But Gray Mazo also testified in the murder trial that Neulander has a temper and, at times, displayed it with parents who disagreed with him about their children’s religious education.
