March 6, 1934. Jewish Daily Bulletin:
I am manager in one of the Rabinovitz stores located at 37 Spring street, Boston. I am writing this letter in the name of my customers who are very enthusiastic to the recommendation which was printed in the Christian Science Monitor by Mr. Frank Ginsburg; to build up a Jewish territory in Palestine with one cent a week. As this plan is recommended for ten years, 17,000,000 people of the entire Jewish race in ten years, means $85,000,000. We have to expect that many people will not even donate the ashes of a cigarette, but a great many people will donate more than two cents.
Let us hope that you will give your readers an opportunity to express their opinion on this subject, and you may be sure that this plan will be crowned with success.
We will be obliged to hear the opinions of all Jewish organizations on this plan. The voice of the people is the Voice of God. We are all ready to support this great plan.
