The Reform movement applauded Texas rabbis and congregants for working against the state’s recent resolution against gay marriage. “We commend the Texas leadership of the Reform Movement for standing strong in order to fight for the rights all humans deserve, for truly we are created ‘b’tselem Elohim’ — the stamp of the divine is present in each and every one of us,” said Rabbi Marla Feldman, director of the Commission on Social Action of the Union for Reform Judaism.
