The reigning Mrs. Hawaii is a former co-president of the Hawaii chapter of Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America. Dede Guss beat 21 other women for the state title and competed in the Sept. 14 Mrs. America pageant. The 39-year-old wife, mother of three and one-time businesswoman took home the Mrs. Congeniality award.
