The Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem said Thursday that it had made arrangements for the repatriation of the body of Ada Gershkowitz, 62, who disappeared in November during a trip to Asia. Her remains were discovered this month near a Chinese hiking trail and identified. Chinese officials believe she died in a hiking accident.
