The Republican Jewish Coalition urged the U.S. Senate to confirm John Bolton as U.N. ambassador. “Ambassador Bolton has expressed President Bush’s unwavering support of Israel in a time of crisis,” the coalition said in a statement Monday. “He has vetoed Security Council resolutions which condemned Israel and excused the terrorists Israel is fighting against.”
