The Rev. Al Sharpton will visit Israel later this week to “show solidarity with victims of terrorism” and help improve black-Jewish relations, according to a spokeswoman for the controversial black leader. Sharpton is a former New York mayoral candidate whom some Jews view as having fanned the 1991 riots in Crown Heights.
