The Roumanian Jewish question was raised at the conference of the Union of League of Nations Societies which was opened here yesterday by the Council on Jewish Rights, which has its headquarters at Geneva, established at the conference on Jewish Rights held in Zurich last summer.
The Council submitted a memorandum prepared by its representative, who recently studied the situation in Roumania, on the anti-Jewish excesses of December.
The conference is attended by several Jewish delegates including Dr. Isador Margolies of Prague and Dr. Leo Motzkin of Paris.
