The Sir Henry d’Avigdor Goldsmid Chair in agricultural economics was dedicated at the Hebrew University Faculty of Agriculture in Rehovot last week in the presence of members of the Jewish Colonization Association (JCA). The late Sir Henry, a member of the British Parliament from 1955-1974, served as president of the JCA from 1951 until his death in 1976.
