The spiritual leader of Israel’s Shas Party is slated to hold talks abroad this week with British Prime Minister Tony Blair and French President Jacques Chirac. Rabbi Ovadia Yosef is traveling with Shas’ political leader, Cabinet minister Eli Yishai, to try to raise funds for the movement’s debt-ridden educational network.
