Memorial Day will be Jewish Day at Hawthorne Field, Brooklyn. Four Jewish teams will participate in a soccer double-header.

Hatikvoh’s best eleven will oppose the strong Jordan team and the Hatikvoh Reserves will meet the crack eleven representing the Brooklyn Knights.

The kick off for the first game is scheduled for 1:30 and the second contest will get under way at 3:30.

This is treat for soccer fans of greater New York.

THE RIDGEWOOD GROVE

The regular Wednesday night wrestling contests at Ridgewood Grove have been postponed on account of the holiday today until Thursday night. Ed Don George meets George Hagen. In a special attraction Hans Kampfer tackles Luigi Bacigalupi. Bert Rubi grapples Casey Columbo and Colseano meets Tommy Texis.

CONEY ISLAND VELODROME

Abie Coleman will meet Jumpin’ Joe Savoldi in the feature bout to a finish at the opening of the Coney Island Velodrome for outdoor wrestling.

This Savoldi-Coleman clash tops an exceptional supporting card. In a special engagement Szabo faces Hagen, of the U. S. Marine Corps.

Bass hopes to make the Velodrome the outstanding spot in the metropolitan district for open air boxing and wrestling.
