The story of how a son who could not remember ever having seen his mother at last found her was revealed here when the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society announced that Samuel Klein, 26, of 119 West Eighty-eight street, had located his mother, Yetta Klein, in Vienna.
Mrs. Klein came to America thirty years ago and was married in New York. Samuel was born in 1907, and in the same year Mrs. Klein was deported because she was not a citizen and was, immigration authorities asserted, mentally deficient. A report was received that she had fallen overboard. Samuel came to the offices of the Society and told officials that he had heard his mother was still living. She was located in Vienna, where she was earning a living as a dressmaker. Mother and son will be reunited soon.
