The sum of nearly $3,000 was raised by the Tree of Life Synagogue of Uniontown, Pa., on the occasion of the unveiling of an electrically Illuminated bronze memorial tablet for Jahrzeit inscriptions. Rabbi Jacob Leibowitz, Abe Cohen, president of the Tree of Life Synagogue; Rabbi Benjamin A. Lichter, of the B’nai Israel Congregation, Pittsburgh, Pa; and Rabbi Samuel Halevi Baron, of Temple Israel, Uniontown. Pa. addressed the gathering at the dedication ceremonies.
