The Swiss government authorized federal prosecutors to continue proceedings against a Mossad agent arrested during a failed bugging operation in a Bern suburb earlier this year. The botched operation, along with other failed operations, led to the resignation of Mossad director Danny Yatom. Yatom was recently replaced by former diplomat and senior intelligence official Ephraim Halevy.
