The three members of the special commission which is to settle the Wailing Wall controversy between Jews and Arabs and approval for which was given by the Council of the League of Nations yesterday, will be appointed by Great Britain. None of them, however, it is understood, will be a citizen of the British Empire or of any other country where Zionist or Arab questions play an important part.
It is believed, therefore, that no American will be on the Commission, which will probably consist of men from countries like the Scandinavian, where complete neutrality prevails, it is supposed, on those matters.
At least one of the three members of the Commission, it is reported, will be a lawyer.
