The top Palestinian official in Jerusalem said the Palestinians “are in a state of war forced upon us, actually, by the Israeli side,” according to Israel Radio. Faisal Husseini made the comment in eastern Jerusalem, while standing in front of an Arabic-language poster that said Palestine includes such places as Jerusalem, Haifa, Jaffa, Safed and the Galilee.
