The trial of two Syrian Jews accused of murdering the four Syrian Jewish women whose bodies were found near the Syrian-Lebanese border has started in secret in Damascus. As a result of this news, the Board of Deputies of British Jews has today sent a cable to top Syrian officials asking open court proceedings.
