The pro-government “Havadis” assails as an “injustice” attempts to force Israel to make concessions and sacrifices without requiring a more reasonable attitude from Egypt. The influential daily “Cumhuriyet” called Secretary General Dag Hammarsk-jold’s report placing the onus for refusing to withdraw on Israel an “injustice and a blunder.” The Opposition newspaper “Dunya” asserted that Israel “asks only the right to breathe freely” and that the UN “must grant her this right.”
