The U.N. Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution calling on Iraq to disarm and accept weapons inspectors. The resolution, warning Iraq that it will “face serious consequences” if it continues to violate U.N. disarmament resolutions, passed last Friday after eight weeks of negotiations.
